History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ovak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Ovak was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
