Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Now she works as a dancing tutor during her time off.

Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Pyntle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Osco wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Mardnab is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
