One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Gifted from a young age, Avelina studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadwisa grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
