History: Born to a Courier, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
