History: He was raised in a island tribe. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now owns his own business.

Richard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
