Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student she started as a Mercenary, but she got bored and became a Bookbinder. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lorm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He now mingles about in high society.
