Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Ar-Karo's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears dull white sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed pickaxe, just in case. She has wavy golden hair. Her eyes are green and beady.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is an amazing painter.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Cumpen's homeland. Cumpen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: She is an average looking northern female in her early mid-life. She wears a white armored body suit, with a simple brown line shooting up and back down. She sports a flattop hair cut. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
