History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Trail was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Trail was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Glassblower. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trail fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the west to a Tanner, Egelina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
