Description: This slender woman stands about 2'11". She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He keeps his long purple hair kept up in a rat tail. His white eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He struck the Animal Trainer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To protect his home; and many orcs want him driven away

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
