History: Leucis was born with his mother's beautiful face. After coming to the age of reason, Leucis took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. After coming to the age of reason, Drifting took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and wants a kiss
