History: She comes from a rich northern family. One day when Smoking was young, her father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her father dropped to the ground dead. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Smoking was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her childhood dream was to be a Knight, but she was a colossal failure. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Her hair is long and red with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small tan clips. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gifted student she started as a Priest, but she got bored and became a Layabout. She struck the Layabout job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Sage who has hired her part-time. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Slave Trader, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Slave Trader. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and seeks redemption
