History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Skirt's homeland. Skirt decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Gifted from a young age, Norkruuth studied abroad. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
