Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Ella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
