Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Flak took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Traulam was born the youngest of three triplets. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Pearl abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
