Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. The war was a terrible time for him, and Therai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Description: He wears silk and lounges about seductively, and he perpetually has his flail ready. His dark red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gold eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Merihim was taken on many hunting expeditions. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merihim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. After months of barely getting by, Tharivol managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.
