Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Her chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Maiathah will drive conversation. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maiathah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He takes great joy in being the best Tanner in town.

History: He was born in a small island village. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Born in the west to a Navigator, Raymond learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Laborer. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
