History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Myathethil wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Through the years after Myathethil was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Myathethil's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is greedy
