History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Fax lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Mayor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Apothecary. He has achieved small success as a Apothecary.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vapula was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bellfounder, and she later adopted a second daughter.
