History: Marbas was born with his father's beautiful face. After coming to the age of reason, Marbas took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Jarsali and her spouse have recently divorced.
