History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Chay was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Chay's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Melissa was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She bought a sai and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
