Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with violet lining and desert motifs. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After months of barely getting by, Paelias managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a grey coat over a tan low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon her head. She has moderate length black hair. Her green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a miller again

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her sai with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her fur is white and curly. Her eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep yellow leather and dull red iron scale mail. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against brigands
