History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Kabbarg was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
