History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Pennie enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Pennie was born with her mother's beautiful face. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and halfling compassion

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is cut close to his head. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He was born in the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Adventurer responsibilities is difficult.
