The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born in the north. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Description: This tall, slender woman is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and grey handkerchief worn on her right side. Her black hair, when down, is lengthy. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Banker. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She has taken up work as a Banker and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and further expansion of business
