Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Qualen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Qualen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Sculptor and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Sculptor.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and is pretty ugly. His hair is cut close to his head. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
