Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Merla enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Miner arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her crest, while still mostly scarlet, has prominent grey streaks. She has red eyes and a green hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She struck the Laborer job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and balancing her hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult
