History: Pyntle lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Personality: Semyaza is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She became a Herbalist soon after.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.
