History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. After coming to the age of reason, Barakas took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dean embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Dean never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Ishte hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
