History: Abalaba was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She struck the Carpenter job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Carlin liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently the stress of being a Bookbinder has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thakrak grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
