History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Quarion was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
