Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the south to a Hunter, Vepar learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
