She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Diesa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Diesa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His childhood dream was to be a Bowyer, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Orthog lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
