History: Fonkin was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Volen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants her loneliness to end
