History: Purban lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Purban was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born in a small island village. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: She wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a axe, but if one is not available she will default to her spear. Her chestnut hair is braided into rings. She has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vani grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vani. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.
