Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is a great chef.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balam grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balam. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
