Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Snafû took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortbow use. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Grigi enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is content
