When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Faran and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. She is renowned for her bright tan dresses and hats, marred by sweets. She wears her black hair down. She has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Meriele was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Meriele grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Meriele. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born into a rich family. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.
