His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born in the north. When Bryseis reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Korinn was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and regain custody of her son
