She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. After a long history of fighting, Verin and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Miner father left him crippled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
