Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears dull brown sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Randal was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He hates Gnomes with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Qualen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.
