Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mardred grew up listening to her father's many stories. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Naivara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
