He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a white vest and prefers black and pastel shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
