Personality: Merla is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: He is a husky man, who dresses like a well dressed Seamstress does. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
