Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His silver hair is singed and shortened. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Brottor and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: This man wears tattered old clothes. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Serpent alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears a blue vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her blue boots flare out at the collars. Her hair is golden and very short. Her eyes are likewise green.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ellywick embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Ellywick lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and to unite with her sister

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Her black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Vani was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She struck the Map Maker job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
