Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gardain is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Broce was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
