Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: She is a Dilettante first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a great chef.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She struck the Dilettante job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and balancing her hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with green slacks. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Darrow fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
