History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His first spouse was a Barkeep, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and retire the richest woman in the east
