History: Verna was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Verna was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Five fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with her Assassin mother left her crippled. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bethrynna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to work out more often
