History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Sapply alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

His hair is long and brown with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
