Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: Spear hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. Spear enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She has done her best to style her black hair to look like a famous performer. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Breena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she's looking for her big break

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. He has hazel eyes and a red hat with a tan feather.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion.
